Despite losses to nationally-ranked teams in each of its last two outings, the Hudson Valley Community College (3-2) football team is ranked No. 17 in the latest NJCAA poll.
Hudson Valley has committed 12 turnovers over the last two weeks, including a season-high seven turnovers in a 17-7 loss at Erie Community College last Saturday.
The Vikings defense is only allowing 165.2 yards per game, which ranks first in the conference and seventh in the NJCAA. Sophomore linebacker John Fuschino (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa High School) leads the club with 45 tackles, including 12 tackles behind the line of scrimmage.
Hudson Valley will host Morrisville State College (3-2) at 1 p.m. this Saturday, October 8.
