Today's practice schedule for Hudson Valley Community College's World Series-bound baseball team has been changed. Originally scheduled to practice from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m., the Vikings (32-8) will now practice from 1 to 2:15 p.m. today. Hudson Valley will still practice at Geer Field.
To get to Geer Field: take 787 North; get off at the South Troy exit (378 East); go over the bridge; get in the middle lane…go straight through the light; get in the right-hand lane… go past the Hess gas station … take a right-hand turn up the hill; go straight up the hill ... go straight through the next light … keep driving until you see a SUNOCO gas station; take the left directly past SUNOCO and continue up the hill to Geer Field.
The Vikings leave for the NJCAA Division III World Series, which will be played May 19-25 at Batavia's Dwyer Stadium, at 8 a.m. Friday.
