The Hudson Valley Community College women's volleyball student-athlete, Adriana Diaz Rolon, was named to the 2023 NJCAA Region 3 All-Region Third Team, as announced by Region 3 and voted on by the regional coaches.

Sophomore libero Adriana Diaz Rolon (Coeymans/Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk), who was recently named the Mountain Valley Conference Co-Player of the Year and All-Conference First-Team, received more recognition as one of the top-18 student-athletes in Region 3 this season.

Adriana was the catalyst that fueled the Vikings program to one of its best seasons in 15 years. Diaz Rolon finished with 448 digs, which was the best in Region 3 and 16th best in the NJCAA. She also led the Region with 5.74 digs per set, which is 10th best in the NJCAA. Adriana was usually the first person to the ball, accumulating 554 receptions (10th best in NJCAA).

The volleyball team hit a lot of milestones this season as they qualified for the NJCAA Region 3 championships for the first time since 2008 and only the second time making the final championship weekend in over 25+ seasons. The program also finished with a winning record of 13-12 in Coach DeCan's second season as head coach and it was the first-time volleyball finished a season above .500 since 2010.
