Volleyball Suffers Road Defeat at Adirondack

The Hudson Valley Community College women's volleyball program suffered a straight set defeat against a tough Adirondack team on Tuesday evening in Queensbury, NY. 

The Vikings played the Timberwolves tough in all three sets, but fell short, which included a 25-23 defeat in the final set of the night. 

Leading the Vikings attack was Kendra Skervin and Alyssa Bruno. The duo combined for 15 kills with Skervin finishing with a team-best eight kills. Bruno had seven kills and added the team's only solo block of the match. 

Skyler Kennedy posted a team-high 16 assists and added two service aces in 11 service attempts. Kennedy also finished with four digs on the defensive end. Adrianna Diaz-Rolon had a team-best 14 digs and collected a team-high 41 service returns.

The Vikings are back in action this Thursday, October 13 when they travel to take on Orange in Middletown, NY. The match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
