The Hudson Valley Community College women's volleyball team dropped a touch match 3-1 against Adirondack in the McDonough Sports Complex on Wednesday evening. 

The Vikings combined for a season-high 18 kills, 14 assists and 12 service aces in the four-set match against conference rival Adirondack.

Leading the way for Hudson Valley's offense was Alyssa Brunowho finished with a team-high six kills.Bruno also finished a team-best four solo blocks. Riley McGinn passed the volley well as she led the Vikings with 14 assists. McGinn also added two kills and three service aces on the day. Hailey Cascioli finished with four kills in the four-set match

Up next for the volleyball team is a home match against Onondaga on Sunday, Sept. 26 at 1 p.m. in the McDonough Sports Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College.
