The 2021 women's volleyball season began tonight the Hudson Valley Community College as they were defeated in straight sets (3-0) on the road against Herkimer in Herkimer, NY. 

The Vikings combined for 13 kills, 12 assists, five service aces in the three-set loss to the Generals. 

Leading the way for Hudson Valley's offense was Alyssa Bruno, who finished with a team-high five kills. Alynna Kanaby, Alyse Vogt, Lynette Okoth and Riley McGinn finished with two kills apiece. 

Upcoming Schedule

The volleyball team is back in action on Saturday, Sept. 11 as they participate in the tri-match hosted by Paul Smith's College. The Vikings will play New Hampshire Technical Institute (NHTI) beginning at noon and followed by their match against Paul Smith's around 2 p.m.
