Hudson Valley Community College women's volleyball (3-14) dropped a four-set match 3-1 to Fulton-Montgomery at home on Wednesday evening in the McDonough Sports Complex. 

In the three sets, the Vikings combined for 35 kills, 27 assists and 58 digs. Kirstin Wood (Colonie/Colonie) led the Vikings with 9 kills on 25 attempts and added 14 digs and six service aces. 

Laura Grippin (Berne/Berne-Knox-Westerlo) had a good game defensively for the Vikings as she finished with 23 digs. She also added seven service aces.

Jessica Getty (Hartford/Hartford) hit .222 with seven kills on 18 attempts and added three solo blocks to lead the Vikings defensively. 

The Vikings volleyball team is back in action on Wednesday, October 10 when they travel to play North Country at 7 p.m.
