The Hudson Valley Community College women's soccer program dropped a tough road match 7-1 at Herkimer on Sunday afternoon in Herkimer, NY.
The Vikings' lone goal came from Lauren Foglia, who converted on a penalty kick at the 84th minute of the game. Hudson Valley did have some success getting quality shots on the Herkimer goal as they accumulated five shots with three shots on goal.
Up next for the women's soccer team is a home non-league match against Holyoke this Wednesday, Sept. 27 at the Outdoor Athletic Complex on the campus of HVCC.
