Women’s Bowling Places Third in Boulevard Classic

The Hudson Valley Community College women's bowling team participated in and placed third at the Boulevard Classic, hosted by Schenectady County Community College on Saturday afternoon in Schenectady, NY.

As a team, the Vikings tallied 6,149 total pins in the eight-team tournament. Hudson Valley scored 4,436 pins in their single series matches and scored 1,713 pins in the baker games.

Kyla Day (Hoosick Falls/Hoosick Falls) and Shannon Bristol (Troy/Lansingburgh) finished inside the top-10 with Day leading the way in seventh place. Day scored a game-high of 214 and finished with an all-events score of 994. Bristol placed ninth and finished with a game-high of 235 for an all-events score of 949.

Gina Patricelli (Troy/Lansingburgh) finished 18th for the Vikings and had a game-high of 255 and concluded the tournament with an all-events score of 884. Kaylie Hull scored a game-high 202 and placed 21st with an all-events score of 809.

The women's bowling team is back on the road tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 4 as they participate in the Schenectady Invitational, hosted by Schenectady County Community College.
