The Hudson Valley Community College women's bowling team participated in and placed second at the Mountain Valley Conference match, hosted by Mohawk Valley at Pin-O-Rama Lanes on Friday afternoon.

The Mountain Valley Conference (MVC) matches are set up to have two separate matches in one day against all of the MVC members. The women took second place in both of the conference matches today.

Kyla Day (Hoosick Falls/Hoosick Falls) recorded the high score for the first match as he finished with a game-high of 244 and a series-high of 672.

For the second match, Megan Gaige (Colonie/South Colonie) finished with the Vikings top score with a game-high of 258 and a series-high of 661. Day finished the second match with a game-high of 244 and a series-high of 707.

The women's bowling team is back in action Saturday, Jan. 27 as they travel to Fishkill, NY for the Westchester Shootout.
