The Hudson Valley Community College women's bowling team kicked off the 2017-18 as they traveled to Allentown, PA for the Roto Grip Keystone Classic and the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic.

The women's team finished 9th out of 12 teams at the Roto Grip Keystone Classic. The team combined to total 7,492 pins with an 849 high game and a 2,403 high series during the tournament.

Gina Patricelli and Kyla Day paced the Vikings as they both placed inside the top-25 during the two-day tournament. Patricelli placed 23rd and tallied 891 total pins with a 198 high game and a 561 high series. Day finished 25th and recorded 882 total pins with a 213 game high and a 526 high series

Shannon Bristol knocked down 801 pins with a high game of 187 and a high series of 480 in five games. Kaylie Hull completed five games and totaled 763 pins with a high game of 173 and a high series of 437. Megan Gaige tallied 687 pins in her five games and recorded a game high of 170 and a high series of 399.

Notre Dame College's Angela Gabriele placed first with 1,064 pins with a high game of 255 and a high series of 644. Robert Morris (Ill.) took home the overall team championship, knocking down 8,635 pins.
