The Hudson Valley Community College women's basketball extended its win streak to four straight following the Vikings 54-42 win over the SUNY Adirondack on Wednesday evening in Queensbury, NY.

Kat Stackrow led all scorers with 18 points as she finished in double-digit scoring for the 11th straight game. The Vikings finished the first half of the game leading the Timberwolves 26-18 and they continued to shoot well in the second half to secure their fourth straight win.

Leemya Garcia had a big first half as she posted nine of her 15 points in the first 20 minutes of action. She later added five more points in the fourth, keeping the Timberwolves at bay.

The women's program returns home this Friday, January 28 when they welcome rival Herkimer to the McDonough Sports Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College. The game is scheduled to tip around 6 p.m., following the conclusion of the men's game at 4 p.m.
