The Hudson Valley women's basketball was defeated on the road by top-seed North Country 89-57 as their season came to an end on Tuesday evening in Saranac Lake, NY.

Freshman Grace VanRoy led the Vikings with 17 points, which included 11 points in the first half of the game.

Top-seeded North Country had four individuals finish with double-figure scoring, which included a game-high from Kayla Carder. Carder finished with 26 points, which included three, three-point field goals, all in the fourth quarter.

Lavender Ward also hit three, three-point field goals as she finished with 23 points for the Saints.

The Vikings season comes to an end as they have continued a successful three-year run under Coach Robert Coleman. The women's basketball team successfully hosted their first Region 3 playoff game and have made the postseason three seasons in a row.

The young Vikings will look to expand on the 2019-2020 success over the summer and build up for another run in 2020-21.
