The Hudson Valley Community College men's soccer team had two individuals garner Mountain Valley All-Conference recognition for their tremendous play during the 2023 season.

Brennan Halbohm (Ballston Spa/Ballston Spa) and Tuyishime Gafasha (Albany/Albany) were both named to the All-Conference Second Team, which is selected by the conference coaches. Halbohm, a sophomore transfer from Ballston Spa, NY, played in all 15 games and led the team with seven goals and 16 points with a .438 shot percentage. Halbohm also tied for the team-best with two assists, proving to be a versatile forward for the Vikings this season.

Gafasha, a freshman from Albany, NY, was the Vikings second leading scorer on the team with four goals, one assist for nine total points. He accumulated the four goals with a .667 shot percentage and six total shots. He worked his way off the bench at the beginning of the season and quickly into the starting lineup as he started nine of the 14 games he played in.

The men's program finished with a 3-9-3 and qualified for a postseason berth for the fourth consecutive season under Coach Devon Tomson, which ended in the NJCAA North B District quarterfinal round against Cayuga, a program who was garnering national recognition as a top-10 NJCAA program this season.
