The Hudson Valley Community College men's soccer program dropped a non-region match 1-0 on the road against a tough Massasoit program in Brockton, Mass. 

As a team, the Vikings accumulated seven shots with Brennan Halbohm leading the way with three shots. Keeper William Brown allowed just one goal and collected five saves over the 90-minutes played. The game was a deadlock until Massasoit managed to score on a deflection in the 84th minute of the game, which proved to be the game-winner. 

Massasoit outpaced the Vikings on corners as they earned eight corners comparted to zero corner kick opportunities for the Hudson Valley. 

Up next for the men's soccer program is senior day on Wednesday, October 11 as they welcome Adirondack to the Outdoor Athletic Complex. The match is set to begin at 3 p.m. with the senior day ceremony scheduled to begin around 2:40 p.m. during pregame warmups.
