Hudson Valley Community College's men's golf student-athlete, Lane Jenkins, placed 15th overall at the 2023 NJCAA Division III Golf National Championship in Chautauqua, NY, earning him NJCAA All-America Honorable Mention honors.
Jenkins placed fourth among his fellow NJCAA Region 3 competitors as he finished all four rounds shooting a 79 or better for a total score of a 307 (+19).
Lane had a tremendous season for the golf program as he won the Herkimer Generals Invitational and was named the Mountain Valley Conference Player of the Year as he guided the Vikings to their first conference championship since 1985. He placed runner-up at the NJCAA Region 3 championships, just one stroke behind the Regional champion, Evan Crouse, who placed one shot behind Jenkins at the NJCAA championships this week.
