The Hudson Valley Community College bowling team competed in the final Mountain Valley Conference match of the season on Tuesday, Feb. 8 at the East Greenbush Bowling Center, in East Greenbush, NY. 

As a team, the Vikings combined to score 2,218 pins and placed third overall for the match. Leading the way for the Vikings was Willis Bickford, who averaged 229.6 and Parker Brown, who averaged 234.3 in the six-game match. 

At the conclusion of the match, the All-Conference team was announced by the coaches, which included Bickford and Brown. Bickford was named the Mountain Valley Conference Player of the Year. Bickford also finished with the conference-best high-game with a score of 289 and the conference-best high series of 762. Parker Brown was also named to the All-Conference team as he averaged 220.9 per game and had a series high of 703 on Jan. 28 at the conference meet hosted by Mohawk Valley in Utica, NY.
