The Hudson Valley Community College bowling team had a great showing with a fourth-place finish at the NJCAA Region 3 Championship, hosted by Mohawk Valley, on Saturday morning in Utica, NY.  

Parker Brown led the Vikings with a grand total score of 1,746 in the eight games bowled. Brown was named to the All-Region team with his third-place finish in the All-Events standings. Willis Bickford joined Brown to win the men's doubles with a final scored of 1,781. They defeated Erie's top duo by 78 pins. Brown also finished 4th in singles with a score of 859.

Erin McCart also had a very good showing today with a score of 1,511 for her eight games bowled. Isabella Guyerhad high game of 222 and Bickford had a high game of 257. Everyone bowled extremely well as a team. We finished 4th overall out of 7 teams with a total of 6269. 

The bowling team will now rest up for the NJCAA National Tournament, which is being held in Lansing, Michigan on Thursday, March 3 through Saturday, March 5.
