Bowling Finds Early Success in Season Opener

The Hudson Valley Community College bowling program began its spring 2022 season on Friday afternoon as they traveled to compete in the Mountain Valley Conference match hosted by Mohawk Valley in Utica, Ny. 

In the first match, Willis Bickford bowled a great set with a 762 triple (278,195,289). Bickford made solid shots and went 10 in a row (twice). He had found his line and couldn't miss, leading the Vikings to a 2-2 record in the first round matches.

On the second match, Parker Brown bowled great and was able to find his line and started to string strikes together.  He finished the second match with a 703 triple (259,236,208). Freshman, Erin McCart was not far behind as she 675 and a 586 in her two matches. Another 2-2 record in the second round, gave the Vikings a 4-4 record on the day. 

The Vikings are set to travel south to participate in the Westchester Invitational on Sunday, Jan. 30 in Carmel, NY.
