Hudson Valley's bowling team competed in the Mountain Valley Conference match hosted by Herkimer and tallied a total of 6,4,62 pins on Friday afternoon.
As a team, the Vikings finished first in the first match and placed second in the final match of the game. In the opening match, Hudson Valley posted a score of 3,263 with Michael Taber (New Baltimore/Coxsackie-Athens) and Catherine Lynch (Troy/Lansingburgh) leading the way. Taber finished with a team-high 686 and Lynch bowled a three-game total of 684. Lynch also earned the Vikings best game with a 257 in game one.
In the second match, Hudson Valley finished with a score of 3,199 and were led by Donald Baker's (Ravena/Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk) three-game score of 658. Taber earned the Vikings top game with a score of 278 in game two.
The bowling program is back in action tomorrow, Saturday, February 2 when they travel to Schenectady for the Boulevard Classic.
