Men's Basketball Falls at Home to Onondaga

The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball program dropped its first home match of their current four-game home stand as they were defeated 99-84 by Onondaga in the McDonough Sports Complex on Wednesday evening on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College.

Trevor Green had another great game offensively has he led the Vikings in scoring for the second straight game. Green finished with a team-high 25 points from 10 field goals made, including one from behind the arc. Jourdan Belcher got off to a strong start as he posted 11 of his 16 points in the first half. 

Eriks Veidemanis finished with a season-best 17 points, including three 3-point field goals and 12 points coming in the second half of the game. 

The men's basketball team continues its season-high four-game home stand this Saturday, Dec. 4, when the Vikings welcome Cayuga to the McDonough Sports Complex at Hudson Valley Community College. The game is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m., following the women's game at 1 p.m.
