The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team was defeated on the road 81-66 against nationally-ranked Herkimer College on Saturday afternoon in Herkimer, NY.

The Vikings held strong against the Generals as they trailed by eight points at the halfway point in the game. Leading the way for Hudson Valley was Jourdan Belcher, who finished with a game-high 18 points with seven field goals made to go with 4-of-5 shooting from the free throw line. 

Luke Bourgault also scored in double-figures as he posted 14 points, with nine of his points coming in the second half. Devon Flynn and Chris Peary both score 10 points each. 

The men's basketball program hits the court again tomorrow as they travel to take on Jefferson at 3 p.m. in Watertown, NY.
