Hudson Valley's men's basketball team (16-5) defeated Adirondack 96-64 on Wednesday evening in the McDonough Sports Complex in Troy, NY. 

The Vikings took the early lead and never looked back as they entered the half with a 49-28 advantage. Caleb Canty (Hudson/Hudson) had a big night with 26 points in 25 minutes of play and hit a career-high five three-point field goals. 

O'nandi Brooks (Brooklyn/George Westinghouse) got off to a slow start in the opening half but found his rhythm in the second half to finish with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Brooks also recorded a career-best six blocks. 

Willy Aybar (Albany/Colonie) has continued to play well as he shot 4-for-5 from behind the arc and finished with 16 points and a game-high six assists. 

Hudson Valley returns home to host Schenectady this weekend for their annual Community Day on Saturday, Feb. 2. The game will feature free admission, free food, a DJ and caricature artists during the game. The doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the game is scheduled to begin at noon.
