Men's Basketball Gets Back On Track, Defeats Corning 84-74

Hudson Valley's men's basketball team (9-1) rebounded a day after suffering their first loss of the season as the Vikings defeated Corning 84-74 on Sunday afternoon in Corning, NY. 

Freshman guard Jordan Gleason (Wynantskill/Watervliet) led the Vikings with 21 points to help get the team back on track and closed out the weekend with a victory. Gleason connected on eight field goals, including four from behind the arc. 

O'nandi Brooks (Brooklyn/George Westinghouse) and Brandon DeGrasse (Bronx/E.A. Reynolds Westside) combined for 29 points in the win. DeGrasse finished with 15 points with five field goals made and Brooks added 14 points. 

Hudson Valley is back home this Wednesday, December 5 as they welcome a tough Region 3 opponent in Onondaga. The start of the game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
