The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (3-3) played Clinton Community College on Monday, Nov. 22 and were handed a 75-71 victory.
It was a hard-fought game, with both teams strong on defense and offense to make the score close throughout the game. With 12.0 seconds left in the game Kyle Mafrici (Colonie/Schenectady) and Anthony Robustiano (Mohonasen/Rotterdam) each made one free throw to seal the win. Kalik Parker (Ragsdale/Jamestown, NC) had an impressive game for the Vikings, scoring 28 points as the high for the game. Herb Tedford (Colonie/Albany) had 16 points and Kyle Mafrici (Colonie/Schenectady) put in 14 points to help the Vikings win.
The men face Onondaga Community College at home on Monday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.
