Herkimer County Community College continued to be the hottest men's basketball team in Region III with its 104-87 win over Hudson Valley Community College on Saturday in Herkimer.
Herkimer has won 10 straight games and improves its record to 16-3 on the season. Hudson Valley falls to 13-6.
Robby Marshall led five Herkimer players in double-figures scoring with 19 points. Akeem Flagg added 18 points.
Freshman guard Justin Gallo led Hudson Valley with 17 points and five steals. Sophomore forward Zach Bye (Scotia/Scotia-Glenville High School) had 16 points and 13 rebounds and freshman guard Ryne Luce (Cohoes/Cohoes High School) chipped in 16 points.
