The Hudson Valley Community College (8-3) men's basketball team committed a season-low 10 turnovers and shot 48.6 percent (37-for-76) from the field in a 97-70 win over SUNY Canton (2-7) today in Troy.
Freshman guard Justin Gallo (Brunswick/Lansingburgh High School) led five Hudson Valley players in double-figures scoring with 16 points. He also dished out five assists. Freshman guard Kevin Timmons (Owings Mills, MD/Owings Mills High School) added 14 points and six assists and sophomore guard Maurice Lane (Bakersfield, CA/West High School) contributed 14 points. Sophomore forward Zach Bye (Scotia/Scotia-Glenville High School) posted a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards.
Hudson Valley will host SUNY Delhi at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5.
