Freshman Justin Gallo (Brunswick/Lansingburgh High School) and sophomore Maurice Lane (Bakersfield, CA/West High School) scored 20 points apiece to lead the Hudson Valley Community College (6-1) men's basketball team to an 89-76 win over RPI's junior varsity team on Tuesday.
Hudson Valley connected on double-digit three-point baskets for the third time this season, hitting 10-of-its 26 attempts. Gallo poured in four three-point buckets and Lane and freshman Ryne Luce (Cohoes/Cohoes High School) connected on two apiece.
Sophomores Kevin Goutos (Altamont/Guilderland High School) and Bryan Ashline (Watervliet/Watervliet High School ) added 12 points apiece and sophomore Zach Bye (Scotia/Scotia-Glenville High School) chipped in a season-high 11 rebounds.
