Hudson Valley Community College hit 14 three-point baskets en route to an 84-68 win over defending Region III champion Finger Lakes Community College in men's basketball action on Saturday in Troy.
Hudson Valley runs its record to 4-0 on the season while Finger Lakes falls to 1-2.
Freshman Ryne Luce (Cohoes/Cohoes High School) and sophomore Maurice lane (Bakersfield, CA/West High School) each came off the bench to hit four three-point buckets and finish with 16 points apiece. Sophomore Zach Bye (Scotia/Scotia-Glenville High School) posted his third consecutive double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Rocco DiJohn (Scotia/Scotia-Glenville High School) added 13 points and eight assists.
Finger Lakes got a game-high 18 points from sophomore guard Ryan Henry (Rochester/Rush-Henrietta High School).
