Sophomore guard Aric Kucel (Gloversville/Gloversville High School) and freshman forward Khylan Hunt (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs High School) were recognized as co-Most Valuable Players of the Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team at the team's recent end of the year dinner.
Kucel was a Second Team All-Region III and Third Team All-Conference selection in 2004-05. He averaged14.4 points and 4.3 assists per game, and connected on 68 three-point attempts.
Hunt led Hudson Valley with 15.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. He also blocked 88 shots. Hunt earned Second Team All-Conference and Third Team All-Region III accolades.
Hudson Valley finished the 2004-05 campaign with a 16-14 record - its 15th consecutive winning season.
