Hudson Valley Community College (14-11) scored the first 18 points of the game and cruised to a 78-60 win over Adirondack Community College (4-21) in men's basketball action earlier tonight in Troy.
Freshman forward Ryan Livingston (Bethlehem/LaSalle Institute) led Hudson Valley with 23 points and nine rebounds. Sophomore forward Maurice Frye (Middletown/Middletown High School) had 16 points, and freshman forward Khylan Hunt (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs High School) contributed 12 points, eight rebounds, four blocks and three steals. Sophomore guard Aric Kucel (Gloversville/Gloversville High School) chipped in eight points and 10 assists.
The Timberwolves were led by sophomore Alex Lanfear's (Lake George/lake George High School) 26 points.
Hudson Valley has won six of its last eight games and will host Columbia-Greene Community College on Thursday, February 17. The game tips off at 7 p.m.
