The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team suffered a 93-81 loss to Monroe Community College earlier tonight in Troy.
Monroe, which is ranked No. 6 in the latest NJCAA Division II poll, improves its record to 10-2. Hudson Valley had its three game winning streak snapped and falls to 6-5 on the season.
Freshman guard Brendon Bradt (Cohoes/Cohoes High School) poured in 19 points and had six assists to pace Hudson Valley. Sophomore guard Tim Kindlon (Delmar/Bethlehem High School) contributed 17 points and five rebounds.
The Tribunes were led by freshman forward Brian Ormon (Schenectady), who scored 23 points. Sophomore forward Jelani Simmons (Rochester) added 19 points.
