Coach VanHoesen returns for his seventh season at Hudson Valley. Prior to Hudson Valley, VanHoesen coached for 25 years in NY State Section 2. On the high school level, VanHoesen produced NY Section 2 All Stars at Mohonasen, Lansingburgh and Niskayuna. While at Hudson Valley, VanHoesen has served in various roles to include: Defensive QCC, Inside LB Coach, Defensive Line Coach, Recruiting Coordinator, Football Operations Coach and Special Teams Coordinator. VanHoesen has sent several Vikings on to D1 and D2 schools and mentored First Team NJCAA All American Trevor Smith. For the upcoming 2023 season, VanHoesen will continue to direct the defensive line.
