The Hudson Valley Community College eSports program claimed its second championship since the program began in the Fall 2020 semester. Dylan Gaston, whose gamer tag is MayTea., won the NJCAA Tier 2 Contender Series Mario Kart Championship on Thursday evening.

In the semifinal round, Gaston continued to blow out his competition as he won 4-0 against SUNY Corning's AlleyPercent. Gaston did not lose a set all season prior to the championship battle.

In the final round, Gaston was challenged by Androop from SUNY Sullivan , but he ultimately defeated his opponent 4-3 to claim the Tier 2 championship.

In the Spring 2021 semester, the Vikings Call of Duty: War Zone duo team earned the program's first NJCAAe National Championship in the program's first year of existence.
