The inaugural semester of the Vikings eSports program is coming to an end over the next couple of weeks as we just completed the regular season in five video games as part of the NJCAAe fall championship season. We had two teams qualify for postseason competition. Congratulations to our Rocket League and Rainbow Six Siege teams!

Rocket League (3v3 - Best-of-7): Jake Cavert, Alex Chlud, Giovanni DellaPorta and Daniel Fortune

Playoff Matchup: The Vikings Rocket League team will take on Hawkeye Community College: RedTails Esports in the quarterfinal round. The Vikings defeated the RedTails during the regular season 4-3 in the best-of-seven series.

Rainbow Six Siege (5v5): Karter Bailey, Kyle Coonrad, Amanda Estrella, Jalil Garibaldi, Aden Mugrace and Shane O'Hare

Playoff Matchup: The Vikings Rainbow Six Siege team will also take on the Hawkeye Community College: RedTails this week in the semifinal round. The Vikings did not face Hawkeye Community College in the regular season.

Congratulations to all over the other members of the Vikings eSports teams for competing all season and representing the Vikings and Hudson Valley this semester. You will get another chance at competing for a NJCAAe championship in the spring 2021 semester!

Valorant (5v5): Angelo Hermo, Riley Drew-Cross, Matthew Kazanjian, Ryan Maser, Michael Yelle, Elena Williams and Sierra Yetto

Fortnite (1v1): Aren Culligan
