The Hudson Valley Community College baseball team (0-4) lost two close games in a double-header against Cecil College (4-0) on Sunday, March 13. The Vikings fell 9-6 in the first game and then 11-10 in game two.
Leading the way for the Vikings in game one, was Chris Massaroni (Voorheesville/Voorheesville) who went 1-4 with a double and an RBI. In the second game, Andrew Christie (Troy/Troy) went 4-4 with three runs scored and two RBIs. Tyler Young (Shaker/Latham) went 2-4 with a three-run triple and four RBIs.
The Vikings travel to Myrtle Beach, SC for their spring trip to play multiple teams from around the east coast. The team's next game is against Rappahannock Community College (VA) on March 20 at 1 p.m.
