Dutchess Community College (19-15) rallied for six runs in the eighth inning to defeat Hudson Valley Community College, 11-9, earlier tonight in Troy.
The win avenged an 8-3 loss to Hudson Valley on April 13 and stopped the Vikings nine-game winning streak.
Alex Cadmus had four hits, including a double to lead Dutchess. Ethan Page, Kevin Potter and Kevin Piano each drove in two runs for the Falcons.
Freshman Jesse Bulka (Summitt/Jefferson High School) was three-for-four and drove in a run for the Vikings. Sophomore Craig Mastroianni (Colonie/Colonie High School) had two hits and drove in two runs.
Hudson Valley (24-8) will return to action on Thursday, April 21 when it hosts Saint Rose JV at 4 p.m.
