Cross Country Tallies a Pair of Top-15 Finishes at Cobleskill

The Hudson Valley Community College men's and women's cross country programs ran well at the annual Steven A Warde Invitational at SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday morning in Cobleskill, NY.
The men's race was an 8K race and they were led by Michael Kleinman, who finished 11th overall and posted an official time of 31:42.17. Robert Wiltsie wasn't too far behind as he placed 13th overall with a time of 32:29.05. Nick Ricciardi was the final Vikings runner to cross the finish line as he placed 28th overall with a time of 35:05.45.
In the women's 6K race, the Vikings were led by freshman Athena Seebald. Seebald placed 14th overall with a time of 28:51.88. Rebecca Martin, the team's only returner from last year's squad, placed 17th overall with a time of 29:34.00. Emily Wilson had a much better performance from last week as she finished the 6K race with a time of 35:36.58 and placed 29th overall.
Up next for the cross country program is the SUNY Oneonta Airfield Invitational at Fortin Park in Oneonta, NY. The men's 6K race will lead off the day at 11 a.m. and the women's 4K race will begin at 11:45 p.m.
