Hudson Valley Community College women's volleyball team traveled and competed in the Cayuga pod tournament on Sunday, Oct. 6 and finished the day with a 1-2 overall record. The Vikings match win (3-1) came against the host Cayuga volleyball program.
The Vikings also faced off against tough Region 3 opponents in Onondaga and Jefferson. Hudson Valley was defeated in straight sets to Jefferson, who currently sit in the top-3 of the overall standings.
Onondaga defeated Hudson Valley 3-1, in what was a competitive match, but had the Vikings fall short in the match.
The volleyball team looks to build upon their weekend as they host Adirondack on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. in the McDonough Sports Complex.
