After a national search, Hudson Valley Community College Director of Athletics Justin Hoyt named Stevan Kuzman as head coach of the College's women's tennis program. 

Kuzman brings over 25 years of collegiate and scholastic tennis coaching experience as well as seven years of coaching collegiate squash. Most recently, Coach Kuzman has been the coach and club director for the Siena College tennis and squash clubs. 

Coach Kuzman has coached throughout the Capital District with collegiate coaching positions at Stevens Tech, SUNY Cobleskill, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Union College, Bard College and Siena College. Stevan has also coached at local high schools during his 25-year coaching career with stops at Mohonasen, Guilderland, Albany, Cobleskill and Albany Academy. 

Coach Kuzman is Pro 1 Certified by the US Professional Tennis Association and has coaching certifications by the US Golf Teachers Federation, Professional Squash Association and the US Racquets Stringers Association. 

Kuzman earned his bachelor's degree in physical education from Ithaca College and his master's degree in physical education from SUNY Cortland. Coach Kuzman also possesses permanent New York State teach certification in physical education, K-12.
