The Hudson Valley Community College women's bowling team knocked down 3,183 pins to finish first at the Adirondack Invitational and capture its fifth straight tournament on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the ladies' "B" team took third place and the men finished third out of six competing schools.
Sophomore Madison Spickler (Watervliet/Watervliet High School) rolled a high-game 278 and a 677 triple to lead the women. Freshman Kelly Borden (Lansingburgh/Lansingburgh High School) contributed a 654 triple.
The Hudson Valley men were led by Dan Rowe (East Greenbush/Columbia High School), who finished with a high-game 257 and a 707 triple.
