The Hudson Valley Community College women's bowling "A" team finished first out of seven teams at the Hawk Invitational on Sunday in Utica. The "B" team took fourth place. Meanwhile, Hudson Valley's men finished third out of 11 teams.
Hudson Valley captured the men's and women's individual titles. Sophomore Kristina Jenkins (East Greenbush/ Columbia High School) was first out of 43 competitors on the women's side. She knocked down 1,744 pins for the "A" team.
Sophomore Steve Caverly (West Sand Lake/Averill Park High School) was first out of 76 competitors with 1,822 pins.
