The Hudson Valley Community College women's basketball extended its win streak to three straight following the Vikings 59-44 win over the Broome Hornets on Sunday afternoon in the McDonough Sports Complex on campus of Hudson Valley Community College.

The Vikings increased the defensive pressure in the second half as they jumped out on Broome with a 12-4 run and outscored the Hornets 16-7 in the third quarter. Junasia Lanier led the Vikings run with six points and Bruno added a pair of baskets in the third quarter.

In the fourth, the Vikings kept Broome at a distance and secured their eighth win of the season and third consecutive.
