Hudson Valley Community College women's basketball dropped their fourth straight game on Wednesday evening 78-59 to Fulton-Montgomery in the McDonough Sports Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College.

Despite the loss, the Vikings earned the No. 8 seed in the 2020 NJCAA Region III postseason tournament and will host No. 9 SUNY Broome on Saturday. The upcoming matchup with the Hornets provides the Vikings with an opportunity at redemption as they were defeated by Broome 66-60 earlier in the season on Jan. 26.

Tonight, the Vikings were led by Grace VanRoy and Emily Erickson, who both scored a team-best 18 points. VanRoy connected on six field goals and shot 6-of-7 from the free throw line, while Erickson nailed three, three-point field goals on her way to her 18 points

The game time for Saturday's first round match up with Broome will be confirmed on Thursday with the expected start time to be around 1 p.m. in the McDonough Sports Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College.
