The Hudson Valley women's basketball team hits 12 three-point field goals as they defeated Clinton 80-43 in their first game following their three-week winter break on Thursday afternoon in Plattsburgh, NY.

Leading the charge for the Vikings was freshman guard Emily Erickson (Melrose/Tamarac), who finished with a game-high 22 points behind a career-high six made three-point field goals. She tied her career mark for most three-point field goals made in a single game, which she set on Nov. 3 when she hit six field goals from behind the arc in her 27-point performance against Montgomery College (MD) in the Sullivan Tip-Off Classic.

Alexandra Rifenburg (Schaghticoke/Hoosic Valley) and Anna VanRoy (Saugerties/Saugerties) each finished the game with 12 points as the Vikings extended their season-high four game win streak.

The Vikings continue their epic eight game road trip on Sunday, Jan. 12 as they travel to take on Tompkins Cortland at 1 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for Dec. 2, but was rescheduled due to the post-Thanksgiving snowstorm.

Hudson Valley's next home game is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 20 when they welcome UConn-Avery Point to the McDonough Sports Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College.
