The Hudson Valley women's basketball team closed out the fall semester on a three-game win streak after defeating Springfield Tech 88-62 on Thursday evening in Springfield, Mass.
The Vikings had two individuals surpass the 20-point plateau as they were led by freshmen Alexandra Rifenburg and Emily Erickson. Rifenburg finished with a career-high 22 points and Erickson finished with 20 points. Rifenburg has now reach double-digit scoring in 10 of the Vikings 13 games this season, while Erickson has reached the 20-point threshold for the eighth time this season.
Nia Gray had a strong offensive night for Hudson Valley as she finished the game with a career-best 15 points. Gray scored eight of her points in the second half, including six points in the third quarter.
The Vikings do not return to action until after the holiday break. They are scheduled to take on Clinton on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 2 p.m.
