Women's Basketball Wins Fourth Straight; Defeats Finger Lakes 85-47

The Hudson Valley women's basketball team won their fourth straight win after defeating Finger Lakes 85-47 on Saturday afternoon at the Alumni Recreation Center of the campus of Siena College. 

The Vikings jumped out to an early lead on the Lakers with an 18-point first quarter, which featured seven field goals. Freshman Emily Erickson led the Vikings in the first half with 12 of her game-high 28 points. Erickson hit three, three-point field goals, marking the fourth straight game with at least three field goals from behind the arc.  

Anna VanRoy and Grace VanRoy each totaled 10 points with nearly identical stat lines as they each recorded four field goals. Nia Gray added nine points, which she scored six point in the second half. 

Hudson Valley women's basketball is back in action tomorrow, Sunday, November 24 when they take on Corning at the Alumni Recreation Center on the campus of Siena College at 1 p.m.
