Miller Scores 26 as Women's Basketball Wins Big

Hudson Valley's women's basketball team (9-3) won their third straight game and crossed the 100-point threshold for the second straight game after defeating Kingsborough 106-56 on Tuesday evening in Brooklyn, NY.  

Lyndsay Miller (Loudonville/Shaker) led five Vikings in double-digit scoring and finished with a career-high 26 points. Miller connected on 11 field goals, including 4-for-7 from the free throw line. 

Hayley Jones (Catskill/Catskill) and Caitlin Estes (Scotia/Scotia-Glenville) each scored 18 points as the duo combined for 16 field goals and four 3-point field goals. Jones and Estes gave the Vikings a quick lead as they also combined to score 17 of the team's 28 points in the first quarter. 

Hannah Kreiger (Brunswick/Tamarac) finished with 13 points and Taylor Engster (Troy/Catholic Central) added 11 points. 

Hudson Valley has one more game before the holiday break on Thursday, December 13 when they welcome Springfield Tech to the McDonough Sports Complex in Troy, NY. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
