Softball Advances Past #4 CCRI at Nationals
The Vikings topped CCRI Lady Knights 5-0 on Wednesday at Carrier Park in Syracuse in the first round of the NJCAA National Tournament.

Moira Collins led things off in the circle for the Vikings. The righty surrendered two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out five and walking one.
Graham, Anna Siter, and Lily Brennan each collected two hits for the Vikings. Graham, Siter, and Brennan each drove in one run for the Vikings. The Vikings had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating seven walks for the game. The Vikings ran wild on the base paths, amassing three stolen bases for the game. The Vikings were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Graham made the most plays with five.
The Vikings advance to the next round as they face the #1 seeded North Dakota SCS at 11am at Carrier Park.
