Men's Cross Country Runner, Eric Young, Earns Co-Athlete of the Week Award

Hudson Valley Community College men's cross country runner Eric Young (Shaker/Latham) was selected as the NJCAA Region III Male Co-Athlete of the Week. Young captured first place overall with a time of 27:20 at the Green Mountain College Invitational on Saturday, October 15. His finish led the Vikings to a first place overall finish in the team standings in the invitational. Young has had a great season thus far, placing second twice and third once to lead the men's team. This is his second career first place finish, the previous one coming last September at the SUNY IT Invitational.

Both cross country teams travel to the conference meet being held at Herkimer County Community College Saturday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m.
